From Romania, With Care: Why We Work Across Borders

We often get asked: Why Romania and Africa? Isn’t that a bit random?

We get it. But for us, it’s personal.

We’re a Romanian-born foundation, deeply rooted in a country with its own history of struggle and resilience. At the same time, we recognize that need knows no borders — and compassion doesn’t either.

Our founding team had the heart, resources, and readiness to act now — and we chose to begin in Malawi because that’s where the opportunity and urgency aligned. But our long-term vision includes projects in both regions: from rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa to underserved groups at home in Romania.

Because we believe in a simple truth: when people work together, everyone rises.
