Why We’re Starting in Malawi

Updated: May 8

When we set out to launch our foundation, one question guided every decision: Where can we make the most immediate, lasting impact? That question led us to Malawi.

Malawi is a country rich in culture, resilience, and community — but many rural areas face extreme challenges in accessing clean water. In some villages, people walk hours each day just to fill a bucket. Children miss school. Women sacrifice safety. Entire communities are held back by a lack of something as basic as clean water.

We chose to begin here because clean water is the foundation for everything else. It leads to better health, more school attendance, safer communities, and greater economic opportunity. By starting small and local, we hope to create ripples that extend far beyond wells and pipes.

This is our first chapter. And it starts with water.
